We are looking for someone with experience in software system development and requirements management, who now wants to work to make a real difference. Through this position, you will contribute to creating safety for both people and communities - where what you do matters.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Systems Engineer in requirements management and testing. In this role, you will be involved in studies and development of new systems, work on maintaining existing systems, and provide support to the operations at the end customer. The position means that you will work in several teams with specialists and project managers where you will need to communicate and collaborate to deliver together. You will work with a range of technical challenges and have the opportunity to influence and shape their systems from the ground up.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Develop requirements documentation including test cases for new systems and features
• Analyze and evaluate technical solutions in existing systems – maintenance of existing requirements
• Document system architecture and system design, as well as maintain existing design documentation
• Present and justify chosen solutions internally and to the customer
• Follow along and actively participate in the entire development process including testing and deployment at the customer

Most of the systems consist of purchased hardware with in-house developed software and are subject to rigorous security requirements (information security, flight safety, and operational reliability). It will be a natural part of your work to take this into account.

• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field
• Have at least 3 years of experience working with software system development
• Have work experience in requirements management, such as IBM Doors or Doors Next Generation
• Have experience in testing software systems
• Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

Meritorious:

• Experience with systems with high security requirements.
• Experience in developing complex systems with real-time requirements.
• More than everyday knowledge of Windows and Linux
• Experience working with management systems
• Experience in conducting technical training for users

As a person, we see that you are an experienced Systems Engineer with the ability to read, formulate, and communicate requirements, as well as break down a very complex system design into understandable technical requirements and also develop test cases and follow up on testing and verification.

You are very structured, meticulous, and have the ability to continuously make trade-offs in your work approach to deliver on time. You have high integrity and your good knowledge allows you to convince others of the strength of your solutions. Working in a team, where you can contribute with your knowledge and experience, motivates you. You enjoy learning new things, take initiative, are independent, and identify, formulate, and manage issues while analyzing and evaluating different technical solutions. Flexibility is important as you sometimes need to handle rapid changes.

This is a consulting assignment which means you will be employed by Friday.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where the customer has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, require certain citizenship.
